NAU Salgados Palace awarded as best venue for congresses and events in Portugal
The NAU Salgados Palace hotel has just won the Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2022 in the MICE category, establishing itself as a reference hotel unit in the congress, events, meetings and conferences segment.
The unit of the NAU Hotels & Resorts Group, located in Albufeira, in Herdade dos Salgados, was distinguished in the MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) segment, by a weighted average of the votes of the jury, subscribers of the daily newsletter of the publication specializing in the tourism sector.
The NAU Salgados Palace has established itself year after year for its versatility, quality of infrastructures and services, as well as for the diversity of resources to cater for all kinds of events. It has 228 rooms, three bars, three restaurants, a Spa with 1,000 m2 and four outdoor swimming pools.
The infrastructure adjacent to the hotel, the Palácio de Congressos do Algarve, has one of the largest auditoriums in the country, with a capacity for 1,650 people, 23 modular meeting rooms, one of which with 1,150 m2, four simultaneous translation booths, scenic lighting and wifi throughout the complex.
Regularly present over the years among the finalists for this publication's awards, the Salgados Palace & Congress Center had already won, in 2016 and 2018, the Best Congress Facility award in the Publituris Trade Awards. Every year, the NAU Salgados Palace hotel and the Algarve Congress Palace host, due to the exceptional conditions they offer, congresses and events from the most varied sectors of activity, both national and international.
These NAU Group facilities are part of a large resort in Herdade dos Salgados, Albufeira, which offers around 750 rooms and 3,000 beds, as well as a golf course, several restaurants and multiple venues for corporate and private events.
