Starting from March 13, 2024, all guests aged 13 years and older are subject to paying the municipal tourist tax due for overnight stays in tourist accommodations in the municipality of Portimão. The Tourist Tax is €2.00 per overnight stay during high season (April 1 to October 31) and €1.00 per overnight stay during low season (November 1 to March 31), charged per guest and per night, with a maximum limit of seven nights. If the stay exceeds seven nights, only the first seven will be charged. The tourist tax will be collected at the hotel during check-in.
